Some more drawings for Death's Apprentice. The NEW Fate and Death in Death's place before she started to accept apprentices. Before, it was just her and birds (mainly crows) who cut the life thread of mortals and release humans to death. The original Fate was Death's sister, who passed away and gave her position to her apprentice, a once-living human named...let's call him Ai for now.

Though the new Fate eventually convinced Death to take apprentices, Death never did truly warm up to him. She never thought a human would be good enough to fill her sister's shoes. And Ai was disturbingly human.
It does make sense though. I mean, Death only really deals with the deaths of humans. And in her eyes, they all seem so frail, and foolish, and weak. 

Death started taking apprentices at around 300 BC, so anyone who died from then to the present is fair game. uvu

Hahaha, to tell you the truth, it feels kinda strange trying to post here regularly again. I kinda got use to not explaining my ideas to anyone but myself these past two months. Putting them into words feel so clumsy and awkward. ;v; I still have a lot of motivation to execute this idea...just not enough time. *sigh*
