HAPPY NEW YEARS! <3333 *hugs you all* I hope you are all doing well~ ;v;
I have a few dA related New Years resolutions that I want to keep!
• Restart Sketch a day. I have been drawing every day but...yeah I'm not very active on dA. ;v; So restart sketchaday and POST THEM ACTUALLY.
• Get on chat more. Well....first find a way to make dA chat WORK and then get on chat more. OvO
• RP with more people. dhfjdshf I'm so bad at this, I'm sorry guys. *cries over all friends*
• Keep up with all my dA messages. ;v; They were becoming overwhelming and I freaked out and stopped....But that is a horrible habit to keep and I need to use my time more efficiently...
ANd I have a few RL resolutions too...but I will keep them to myself. I'M SO MYSTERIOUS.
Anyways, here is my sketch of the day I guess! OvO Something that happened during #PapayaSyndicate's Winter masquerade event. OvO I wasn't able to stay but it was still cool. Clyde and Semi are making there trip to the party and OF COURSE, Semi didn't want her boa to drag the ground so she decided the best way to do this would be to not stop. OF. COURSE. XD
So as you can see, I lost pen pressure from my STUPID WACOM TABLET halfway through but I didn't want to restart. *sighs and just rolled with it*
Clyde, the poor guy hanging out for the back of Semi's bike, belongs to =huina

This was her outfit for the masquerade. She has shorts underneath, you can't ride a motorcycle in something THAT short.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI'm writing a critique while I still can!! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Vision: not only is it thought-out, it actually carries a clear message of motion and reflects common ideas of what high-speed traffic looks like. The use of motion blur in the lights--both foreground and the city lights in the background--and exhaust add a more complete feel. Without them, this would likely still be a good picture, but lacking any imaginative element. In other words, it would be well made and well thought-out, but in a rather plain manner.
Originality: As I said above, painting in motion blur gives it that creative touch that makes it special. Also, thinking to add the same effect for the rider's hair and scarf are great touches that normally wouldn't be thought of.
Technique: Absolutely fantastic! It's a very appealing, blocky style with great shading. The use of color, conveyance of motion, and impeccable shading all bear a strong testimony of your abilities.
Impact: Stunning. The type of picture that makes you smile and feel, for a moment, the scene that is depicted.
Overall: Bravo!! You couldn't have started off the year better!
